How to Make Complaint Under Rera

Housing sector has finally got real estate regulatory mechanism to dissolve buyer-seller disputes. Every state is being directed to frame up rules and start enforcing RERA.
Haryana has made an interim authority while Punjab has made a final authority. The aim is to bring transparency and accountability back to Real estate sector.
Once the complaint is made, the adjudicating officer will decide it in a time bound manner. State can appoint officers as it wishes.
Consumer association, societies or public spirited individual can file the complaint in contravention of any provisions stated in RERA.
A. Haryana– Haryana Real Estate ( Regulation and Development) Rules 2017 applicable. Fill the form ‘CRA” and submit before the adjudicating officer along with fee of Rs 1000. Mention brief facts and relief claimed, both Interim and final.
B. Punjab– Punjab State Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules 2017 provides form ‘M’ and ‘N’ to make before the adjudicating officer along with Rs 1000 each.
Already pending cases with the permission of court can be withdrawn with the leave of court and filed fresh before RERA.

80- no other court will adjudicate matter falling under RERA.

14- not as per sanctioned plan
18- possession not on time.
31- who can file complaint.
