Now that I have written so many posts on RERA , the very first question before me is, whether this particular project is registered with RERA Punjab or not?
So here I am today, making it utter easy for you to DIY (Do it yourself).
1 visit the RERA Punjab website first and foremost. Here’s the link: https://rera.punjab.gov.in/
2 On website home page itself, click on Registrations/ Search Registered Projects . See the image below.
3 Then you can find a PDF file option to download the list of registered projects with RERA Punjab as on specific date. Everyday new projects keep on adding to the list. Till the writing of this post, the date is 28th September, 2018. You may also access the PDF file here.

4 Once you downloaded the list , what to do next ? Search the .pdf file for the project by simply putting the name of builder or RERA number only if you have it. Keep scrolling till you get it.

Now if you are buying a project registered with RERA , you are in safe hands since RERA assures timely delivery , completion of project and compliances of statutory requirements.
What else you can ask for ?
But Punjab RERA now in Chandigarh only covers projects that are registered strictly . For unregistered real estate projects , the remedy lies to State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Chandigarh at Sector 37.
This is followed as per complaint no. 3 of 2017 , Bikramjit Singh & Ors.
Though RERA comes with 60 day window but State Consumer Commission Punjab is
also on fast track mode in disposing off the complaints .

On RERA Punjab website you can do host of things :
1 Search judgments and orders.
2 File complaint online only if you know it, rest always recommended to file it through RERA expert lawyer and advocate in Chandigarh Panchkula Mohali and nearby.
3 Check Daily Causelists of RERA Authority and Adjudication Officer .
4 For Promoters , Registration of reality projects and for Agents registration.
5 Access the latest RERA news uninterruptedly.
Invest with confidence in RERA certified projects . You will be glad to know , further these projects are covered up to 5 years for any workmanship defects even after possession.
