Hope you remember the famous case of Elly Mangat and his fight with Singer Raman deep Singh Alias /Rammi Randhawa for threatening and abusing each other in viral videos.

Now the PSHRC has taken suo moto congnizance of the allegations of torture made by Ely Mangat against the Mohali Police.

Elly Mangat has made allegations that Mohali Police has tortured him with third degree, insulted him and demanded Rs 25 lakhs as bribe.

Now the PSHRC has sought report from the DGP (Director General of Police) regarding the veracity of allegations and to submit it before the new date of hearing.

Also, PSHRC has directed Mohali SSP to bring the SHO who is dealing with the matter and to bring the case record before hearing the Nov 6.
