WOMEN CELL COMPLAINT HUSBAND CHANDIGARH PANCHKULA MOHALI

All the crime related to women in matrimonial disputed are first forwarded to women cell in Chandigarh, Panchkula & Mohali, where counsellor first checks the veracity of the complaint and extent to which relation is broken. • PROCESS:

1. First a hand written complaint is given by the nearest police station.
2. Thenthe complaint is forwarded to Mahila thana or the respective women cell.
3. The husband is called and asked to give his version regarding the said incidents in complaint.
4. Then the welfare officer asks both spouses regarding their willingness to settle dispute amicably or to proceed om merits.
5. If the relationship is broken beyond repairs, then welfare officer will give report to police station who forwarded the complaint for registration of FIR.
6. It may take more than a month in average to get fir registered.
7. Then the FIR gets registered at police station U/S 498A, I.P.C. against and the relatives as alleged in first complaint.

• IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

1. Draft the complaint precisely in right chronology from Day 1 to Day last.
2. Cite all your incidents specifically with the backing of evidence (you don’t need to give t this stage.).
